Utopia: State of Abstraction

UTopia: State of Abstraction is the sixth volume in Utah Valley University’s Department of Art & Design fine art book series. The title carries a double meaning: the universal questions the work takes up, and the geography it holds itself to — every image was made in Utah. Within that constraint, the book gathers work that abstracts the familiar landscape of home into something less certain.
